I have bought my son quite a few wooden climbing frames over the years, and he has lost interest in every single one of them rather quickly. I guess they were not big enough, or they were not special enough, I’m not really sure. I think that if he decides that he would like to have a new one, I want to get him something very special. I want to get him a very large wooden climbing frame to see if that would be something he would prefer to have.

What makes wooden climbing frames different, if you buy the right one, is that they can be decorated in any way you want. That would mean my son and I could spend a lot of time painting the timber struts or even adding special textures to the wooden climbing frame, and we could make it just like he would like to have it with varying tints of green and brown to match in with the garden landscaping.
