One of the most popular wedding flowers in recent years is the Cala Lily, a versatile flower which makes great flower arrangements at any time of year, so what could be more appropriate for an anniversary table-center than a bunch of calla lillies?
We can’t all afford to eat out, even on an occasion like a wedding anniversary; if you plan to stay in, but still make an occasion of it, you’ll want to create a pretty candle centrepiece to help set a romantic mood.
You will need eight or ten silk cala lilies along with dark green grasses or whips. Arrange the cala lilies and the grasses into a tight bunch, tie them together tightly a little down from the heads, with raffia if you have any, and let the grasses fall in an elegant bow shape. Put it into a bubble vase that has been half filled with diamond vase filler then leave as it is or add ice cube lights or Floralytes to it to give it that extra lift. Place a candle at either side and let the flickering light bring romance to your dinner table.
