The led lenser P7 flashlight is a wonderful piece of equipment for anyone looking for a great light to hunt, go camping, hiking, for law enforcement, tactical/military teams, and any outdoor enthusiast! I too had never heard of Led Lenser/Coast, but if all you want is widely-known brand names (Mag-Lite, Streamlight, Surefire, Pelican, etc), I think you should give this brand a chance.

This is the first serious flashlight I’ve owned and I will never go back to the rinky dink “lights” I used to have.

led lenser make flashlights with a LOT of light in a compact size. Extremely well built, small enough to put in a pocket, and really lights up whatever you point it at. I work at night in a rural area where there are no street lights and I depend on what I can carry. I purchased this light after reading many reviews and am very happy with it. Not only does it put out a tremendous amount of light, but it also uses only 4 inexpensive AAA batteries. Runtime on high (200 lumens) is very good – I get about 50 hours. I would recommend this light for anyone who needs a dependable, very bright light in a small package.
