Comforters Luxury – What could be better than that?

One of the reasons why you might want to stay in a high end hotel is–what I have come to call– comforters luxury! You get to enjoy the exquisite look and feel a well designed bedroom, a quality mattress, a luxury comforter or duvet, and high quality sheets to cradle your body. All designed to deliver you into a realm of sleep you don’t often get at home. Lucky for us, there is no reason why you couldn’t duplicate this at home. Luxury comforters and duvets have become readily available. Literally everyone can now indulge in the warmth and elegance of a luxury comforter of any size or dimension, pattern and color, and of course price range. Bedding sets or Bed in a Bag Ensembles have become hugely popular. In fact, one can color coordinate an entire bedroom around a comforter set, with matching or coordinating drapery, rugs, accessories and even the paint on the wall.

Unlike mass manufactured comforters, luxury comforters or often designed by a designer and then manufactured with great care, and finished off with extra stitching or piping and such. You will find that luxury comforters or duvets are most often filled with down (which are the feathers of a duck or goose) or wool, but you can also get them with alternative types of filling like silk or a variety of synthetics. This is especially helpful for people that suffer from allergies. The difference between a comforter and a luxury comforter is determined by the thread count and overall quality of the casing, and the quality and percentage of the filling materials. To be considered luxury, the thread count in a quality comforter can vary between 600 and 1500. The high thread count fabrics used for the casing will provide ultimate softness and an overall cozy experience, not to mention a classy look for your bedroom. A good quality comforters is also quilted or baffled to ensure that the filling materials stay in place, preventing hot or cold spots.

You can choose different weights for cold, warm and hot climates to suit your needs. The quality of the comforter can best be put to the test by lifting the whole product and analyzing the feel. You should be able to experience at least some of the comfort the product is designed to extend.

Most of the luxury comforters come with a one-year warranty and product care instructions. They can be stored away when not used in the clear packaging provided at purchase. Buying a quality product will give you a wonderful return on your investment for years to come with proper care.

Sleep tight!
